For anyone that does not know about Flock Safety, it is a company that specializes in video surveillance for law enforcement. They put up cameras that store data of passing cars. Such as license plates, the color, make, & model of a vehicle, and it also notes any damage on the vehicle. It is fairly similar to the cameras that were being cut down by citizens in the UK. These Flock cameras are all over the United States. This is a link to a map that shows all known locations of these cameras: deflock.me

In October of this year they announced that they will be partnering with Ring. To my knowledge this partnership will be realized in December. From reading up on this law enforcement will be able to request videos from a owner of a Ring camera to use in their investigations. I personally do not believe that police will have to request anything and will most likely just be able to access videos whenever they want. Given the fact that Ring employees were spying on people in 2018 which lead to a 5 million dollar lawsuit, do you think that law enforcement won't do the same? Ring as already started to use facial recognition software in their cameras. Which I believe has been a lead up to this partnership. Both Ring and Flock say that they delete data after a period of time, but I do not really believe that is the case. There are plenty of articles discussing this partnership, but this is the one I have been reading: https://www.biometricupdate.com/202510/rings-partnership-with-flock-raises-privacy-alarms

On a totally unrelated note, does anyone have any other camera options other than Ring?

  1. We’re Flocked.

Seriously though, we can see the control and surveillance grid continue to expand and intensify. Skynet here we come.

  2. This would lead to total surveillance from when you leave your house to your work and all the journey in between and law enforcement have complete access to it.

You can clearly see the digital prison being rolled out before us.
