In his scholarly article ‘Mahmoud Darwish and Tanure Ojaide: Poets of Exilic Consciousness and Representatives of Oppressed Nations’, Ghada Mohammad explains: “The stag was sacred in ancient times, when it became a symbol of the gods of fertility as Tammuz, Ba’al, Adonis and Attis (Sawah, 1996, 276)”.

One of the best marketing tools this movie had was placing semi obvious clues to get conspiracy nuts to go on every social media and mention the movie over and over. It’s like Tom Sawyer getting other boys to paint the fence. You’ve been tricked into doing their work for them.
