The poster here was made in the 1990s by the EU and is an illustration of the EU Parliment Building which was modelled on the Tower of Babel and also contains some downward pentagrams. The Tower of Babel is a story from the Book of Genesis, where humans, speaking a single language, united to build a massive tower reaching the heavens. God, displeased with their ambition, confused their language, causing them to no longer understand one another. As a result, they were scattered across the Earth, abandoning the tower.

The Tower of Babel was built by Nimrod. In their book ‘The Many Faced Jewl’, Frater Sabellicus and ‎John Madziarczyk say that Nimrod was the “embodiment” of Baphomet.
