Due to climate change, glaciers have melted to a point that ships can now navigate waters that were previously unavailable. It is expected to open up significantly by 2050.
This is not new information. This has been on the radar for many countries, most notably Russia. In the last 15 years Russia has increased military bases along the Kola Peninsula.
So, I believe the aggressive attack on Greenland is a direct order that Krasnov intends to carry out for his dear leader.

You’re over the target. Trump doesn’t want to build AI data centers in Greenland. That’s a red herring. This is about usurping Russia/China control of strategy geography in the Western hemisphere.
