Hey everyone, I was just playing Call of Duty: Ghosts again and got to the mission where the Ghosts infiltrate Caracas at night to secure a VIP – "Federation Day." If you're familiar with the mission, you know what I mean: zip lines between skyscrapers, fireworks in the city below, and that tension as you fight your way into the building bit by bit. Absolutely epically staged. And then you read what happened in the real world in early January 2026 – and you think to yourself, "Wait a minute… is this really happening?" US special forces struck in Caracas, capturing Maduro and his wife in the middle of the night, just like in the mission. I don't know about you, but for me, it's kind of surreal. The whole thing almost feels like a video game plot, only real: urban environment, covert operations, chaos on the streets, and a clear objective. Of course, everything in CoD is fiction, but in reality, real people are right in the thick of it. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts!

They understand and utilise how military operations and geopolitics work and play it in their scripts and it’s just coincidence. Unless you’re saying CoD developers are part of an secretive shadowy cabal that leaves breadcrumbs for teenage monster energy addicts to follow, for some reason?
Really good insight into it here – [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG1BLzqi3uw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG1BLzqi3uw)
The whole thing is steeped in ritual and sacrifice – with the COD developer Vince Zampella dying in a car accident in the lead up to the extraction.
