majority of my childhood I was forced fed ADHD medication and now is suffering, long-term brain damage due to the high dosage of Ritalin as kid now you realize as a kid, you were nothing more than a a Tweaker that was forced fed prescription grade methamphetamines because the school system did not like your hyperactive behavior and had no choice but to take the medication daily if not, you were allowed to attend the school because the teachers, principal and school counselor gaslighted your parents into overmedicating your child with legal methamphetamines, and now you suffer long-term brain damage

I was in the gifted and talented program as a child. It was essentially standard operating procedure for almost every kid to be prescribed some sort of stimulant. My parents, dead head hippies god bless them, always refused. The administrator for the program told my mother that in order to skip the 2nd and 3rd grade, I would need to be on some sort of pharmaceutical regimen. Mind you, I had never been in trouble for restlessness, hyperactivity, or really any other symptom which would necessitate medication. My mother refused, and I went back to public school, where I would find heroin in the 11th grade and struggle with it for the next ten years. I’ve been clean for almost ten years now, almost as long as I used, and the more I reflect on that time in my life, the weirder my memories get. They really had us doing some weird shit in those classes.
All I know is that my best friend in 8th grade was such a witty, fun, intelligent, full of positive energy, lovable person when he was off Ritalin. When it was the test days, his parents forced him to take Ritalin, which creeped me out because he became a monotone zombie without any life and the joy was removed from his eyes and voice. I just remember that it made me sad how much it changed him.
Yes I feel like this is me. Psychedelics/microdosing them undid/repaired all the damage done (at least I feel like) over time.
Omg I wish I didnt check your profile history. Thats enough reddit for the day
