If you watch the slowmo video, you can see the officer put his finger on the trigger. Mighta gotten bumped, cold could be a factor too. But he fires the first shot into Alex Pretti’s back.
This is the part some people claim is Alex “standing up”, but it seems like the officers back up after hearing the shot, and Alex naturally recoils from the bullet entering his back.
Then the same officer mag dumps into his back. The stabilized footage is clear enough that you can see casings ejecting.
