It’s almost like there is an agenda being pushed

  1. Aren’t both illegal? If you want justice for one but nothing done about the other, maybe look at your own agenda?

Also please show me what he was obstructing. Helping a woman attacked by immigration officers (both of whom were citizens and shouldn’t need to interact with immigration officers) was not “obstruction.” Also the penalty for obstruction is not death.

    Lick those boots.

I am not american so i dont subscribe to the democrat\republican dumb ass war. But are people really trying to justify the killing of that guy yesterday? Because your picture presents it in a way that he got himself killed. Are you stupid? This shouldnt be a political party thing.

and some of the narratives coming out of the politicks are insane… seems like they are intentionally stirring us up. Possibly to divert all of the that public fight energy into war support.

One party is a schizo murderer in an isolated case and the other party gets protected by the government and fed with your taxes.

Why do we spend more on unskilled ICE goons than on the Navy?

I think that if you’re selling this one or the other you’re falling into the trap. Both are wrong, murder is wrong.

It’s how the powers that be use the murders for their agenda. One side said this murder happened now let’s get rid of all immigrants. The other said this murder happened let’s get rid of all immigration enforcement.

Can’t the answer be more nuanced? Murder is bad, so let’s ensure we have properly trained immigration enforcement that is working within the constraints of the law and not just targeting any brown person? Murder is bad, so let’s ensure violent offenders of all types citizen or not are removed from the streets before they can be violent again?

There was justice for Laken. According to Wiki, her killer was arrested by UGA police and charged with 10 counts, including felony murder, malice murder, false imprisonment, aggravated assault with intent to rape, and kidnapping. He was found guilty on all charges on November 20, 2024, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. What’s next, Iryna Zarutska? Her killer was indicted as well and will never be a free man, and death penalty is still on the table for him.

Your what about-ism is a dumb take. A deranged lone killer is not the same as state sponsored terrorism. The agents who killed Alex Pretti are unlikely to face any consequences. ICE has killed two US citizens in the last month without consequences and are immune from federal charges, as granted by our federal government. ICE also has the biggest budget right now, sitting at 86 billion. This will happen again. Use your brain.

    classic minimum IQ take:

    1. my side does something indefensible
    2. whatabout XYZ??? see? see? hypocrisy!

Also, if you still using phrases like “The Left” at this moment in US, you have completely lost the plot.

Finally, everyone knows about the famous legislation ‘Laken Riley Act’, based in-part on her murder.

“Oh you don’t like the government killing people? Well, why don’t you know the name of every single person brutally murdered by random ass people in the US?”

Her killer also got sent to prison for life. The ICE agent probably won’t. It’s hard to believe people like you think this is a good argument.

Yeah no. The idea that just because we want humane immigration reform means we don’t care about crimes being committed is a false narrative. It just so happens than the greater majority of sex crimes, and murders against young women in this country are at the hands of fully legal U.S. citizens, so.

  10. There absolutely is an agenda. They certainly seem to be getting their money’s worth out of it too.

Only thing that dude interfered with was helping a woman the ice agent pushed down. No one said she wasn’t a citizen or that they were even targeting her other than to push her around

  12. Republicans hold their elected  government to the same standards as random citizens and immigrants.

    The worst kind of pussies.

Boom.  Also, just because you are a nurse does not mean you are a perfect human.  I’ve met some shit nurses. And why do nurses get all the love? They’re great and all but the techs and aides are what make a facility.  Just sayin.

  14. Definitley an agenda being pushed. Plenty more outcry (and posts) for a guy that pushed a federal officer compared to Riley or Iryna Zarutska; their killers getting sentenced wasn’t “justice”, as justice would’ve been their killers being in jail long before they had the chance to commit the acts. It’s Reddit though, just sad that it’s hit this sub so heavy now /:
