A good article about the possibility of a NATO without the US and the challenges involved. Frankly I think despite the difficulties, it’s incredibly worth having a European army and striving to be able to replace the valuable military services the US provides with domestic ones and every day Trump does more to convince me of that fact. It’s one thing to discuss a European army if it were a choice in peaceful times but there’s a real possibility that choice will not exist in the future. Why roll those dice? Why set yourself up in a losing position if the mad king doesn’t go your way?

So true king (seriously). For every 1000 articles about how this is a wake up call for Europe and EUROPEAN LEADERS ARE WAKING UP TO THE FACT, I would like to just read 2 about how they actually fucking did something.
