This is a weirdly good pick. Warsh is a former Fed governor and totally normal person to be considered for this job.
If this rumor is true it would be the second good appointment by Trump 2.0 with the other one being Isaacman for NASA administrator.

I find it interesting how he wants to reduce the Feds balance sheet (which is predominantly treasury bills and whatnot), which would run contrary to Trumps whole mercantilist approach by appreciating the dollar
