Why do Euro’s get such a pass on anti semitism before and during WW2 in western education? The Dutch were fantastic at ridding themselves of Jews.

Latvia, Ukraine, Lithuania all had loving willing participants at the civilian level

Vichy France relocated Jews quicker than they were asked to by Germany. I mean I get it, winners write the history books but it seems somewhat unfair that the continent gets a pass when the European position for the most part was “we really don’t like these people”

So uh, in light of the Epstein files I’ve made the executive decision that this flair must unfortunately be retired for fairly obvious reasons. Remember kids: no matter how banger the pun, there’s always a chance it ages horribly.

  6. can someone who’s good at economy/smarter than me educate me on why my views of some things are dumb?

idea: capitalism is cool but also unions are a rational action of workers under capitalism. And state ownership is dumb but meaningful worker ownership of their business helps align incentives in a way that promotes the diginity of the workers while still utilizing the power of the free market

basically I like the idea of unions and I generally feel that workers should have the opportunity to own at least a bit of the company they work for
