They’re going too far with it. I’d be happy with a picture ID to vote, which DOESN’T happen in 14 states. I could be wrong, but from what I can tell from the bill, they want things I personally don’t have – a REAL ID with another backup?, a valid passport, a birth certificate. It doesn’t need to be all that. Just require a driver’s license or other valid picture ID to vote. Then add another ID for states that let anyone get a driver’s license.
