It wasn’t sustainable 25 years ago which is why they started piping in migrants. It’s a ponzi scheme that relies on constantly expanding population to keep it afloat.
So they did a short term fix for a long term problem, and now the problem still exists and they’ve created permanent societal and cultural problems on top of it
