At what point are Massie’s remaining supporters going to admit that everything this guy has done for months has been motivated by spite? He’s mad at Trump for backing a primary challenge against him in October, and he hates the Republican base. Massie knows that he’s going to lose his primary, and then his only future will either be grifting conspiracy theorists and/or running as a spoiler candidate via the Libertarian Party.
He’s unironically using Epstein as a distraction to conceal that the real reason he lost favor with Trump is because he opposed passing the BBB to fund ICE, and has a track record of being soft on immigration.
Did you know Massie went out in October to meet with the Integrity PAC, a Democratic Socialists of America partnered organization, to seek their support for his primary? Its chairman is an anti-ICE advocate who’s compared the organization to the Gestapo. He’ll brag about not taking money from pro-Israel lobbyists, but he’ll happily accept funds from pro-open borders socialists.
What is so hard with the Senate not pushing and passing a bill that over 70% of all Americans want?
I can understand Democrats reasons (they need those illegal and dead people votes), but what is stopping ALL Republicans from just pushing this through?
