EU lawmakers decided Monday to delay the approval of the bloc’s trade deal with the US due to uncertainty over President Donald Trump’s tariff policy.
It comes after Trump imposed a new blanket 15% duty in response to a ruling in the US Supreme Court last week that struck down many of his previous worldwide tariffs.
The European Parliament’s trade committee planned to vote on Tuesday to remove import duties on US industrial goods, a key part of the EU-US trade deal. But that vote has now been postponed.

(1) Trade coercion & response by other countries : Despite Trump’s claim of victory in trade negotiations, other country’s has not proceed with their end of bargain, believing Supreme Court will lift tariffs.
3. My opinion
Trump might not know but other nations have intention of keeping what they told to him about “tariff deals”. Throw around big numbers and do nothing.

The US has no tariff policy, it is based entirely on Trump’s whims and he is happy to tear up any deal already in place if it suits his ego. This man has a history of not honoring contracts and his word isn’t worth anything. Negotiating with him is also pointless because he cannot be trusted to honor agreements.
This clusterfuck of Trump declaring tariffs, the courts ruling them illegal and Trump simply coming back with the same tariffs under a different bullshit justification will continue until he dies or leaves office.

Surely they must understand that any clarity can be removed at Trump’s whim, exactly like this deal was.
Just dump the damn thing and retaliate already. He’ll back down.
