Lmfao I can’t fucking stand Platner

Dude is the guy you’d get drunk with at an after party in some dude’s basement and then not want to speak to ever again

Still hope he wins if he’s the nominee, but this should not be the norm whatsoever

Well shit i was hoping the nazi tattoo really was just a mistake considering polls show him running away with the primary but this is more evidence that it isn’t the case

    > denied knowing a tattoo that was on his chest for years closely mirrored a Totenkopf, the skull-and-crossbones icon adopted by an infamous Nazi SS unit.

    There were no signs

And of course backed heavily by Sanders

Man with nazi tattoo platforms neo-nazi, claims to be fan of said neo-nazi

I wonder if we have a word for such a type

I’ve always been frustrated with progressives, but I didn’t know they had zero principles. How can you possibly continue to elevate this deviant?

I feel like the fact that he follows these absolute complete nobodies instead of even like a mainstream antisemite like Alex Jones or David Duke or something says a lot about how deep in the sauce he is

Like you gotta really actively seek out this shit to know who the fuck Stew Peters is

I could give him the benefit of the doubt here, but I won’t.

If I had a very well-known controversy that painted me as a Nazi I would simply not retweet Nazis or associate myself with known antisemites. This does not seem very hard to do. In fact, it is so easy, that one wonders how unintentional it possibly could be.

However, I am also not ahead in the polls for the Democratic primary in Maine, so clearly Platner knows something about appealing to Maine Democrats that I do not.

It’s unreasonable and stupid purity testing to say we shouldn’t nominate a man with a Nazi tattoo to the US Senate.

Having a man with a Nazi tattoo as Maine’s Democratic nominee for the US Senate certainly won’t undermine Democrats’ credibility when it comes to opposition to fascism.

It definitely won’t contribute to the mainstreaming of far-left antisemitism within the liberal movement.

    It’s fiiiiiiiine.

Y’all are just clutching your pearls.

    🙄

People on this sub were crying and shitting and pissing about how Platner is actually wholesome and epic and not an antisemite
