      People really tell on themselves when they make the whole “the male loneliness crisis isn’t real since it implies a female loneliness crisis, because most people are straight” argument. Last I checked a big part of the problem is men that have literally no friends at all, not just no romantic partners.

      Just realized that a lot of the people criticizing the Dems over the war in Iran don’t know the difference between a War Powers Resolution and an Authorization of Military Force. So when they hear Dems calling for a War Powers Resolution they think Dems are supporting the war.

      Maybe War Powers Resolution needs a new name because the confusion does make sense

      I’m not entirely unamenable to conversation while I’m reading a book but the only questions I shall entertain are “What are you reading?”, “What’s it about?” and “Is it any good?” Anyone who sees me with book in hand and decides I shall be a good conversation partner at the time otherwise ought have their head checked.
