In case people have forgotten about the Afghanistan-Pakistan war due to the other, much more eye-grabbing war underway. It’s a really terrible state of affairs for the civilians involved who are caught between a rock and a hard place. Pakistan is unlikely to stop until the Taliban gives them some promises to stop funding militant groups attacking Pakistan which— well they’re the Taliban, how much can you really count on their word. Who knows how long this war will continue.
