Magyar is trying to move into a centrist techncratic position with his party and himself, and one of the signs of it is his massive fixation on finding competent hungarians who have worked both in and outside the country. His biggest success was getting István Kapitány, Shell’s previous Global Executive Vice President to join and become one of his technocrats, Kapitány was only introduced to the people a month ago and he is basically the number 2 of the party already. But his future minister of health is a succesful surgeon, his minister of foreign affairs worked both for hungary (under Orbán’s second government between 2010-12) and various corporations, such as Vodafone.

This is mostly to move away from the current view people have about those in power, which is still very much a relic of the socialist era. Stuffy old guys with questionable degrees and no experience on the market, and of course massive corruption.
