  1. Interfering with free press is not ok. Free press most definitely includes the right to air points of view that I don’t like. Pro-America is a very vague term that could be used by a future Democrat administration to shut down conservative media if this ‘rebalance’ goes through. We need a strong opposition press no matter who is in power to keep those in power slightly more honest.

I’m at a point where I don’t think a free press is necessarily worth the manipulation and lies they use to mislead the very ignorant public.

Is dedication to a free press worth the potential sacrifice of losing our country entirely? I think that is increasingly likely.

The Trump administration aims to “rebalance” the media by encouraging television broadcasters to “stand up” for their communities and air more patriotic programming, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr said in the latest episode of “Pod Force One.”

I don’t need the media to fellate Congress or SCOTUS or whomever the POTUS happens to be.

I need the media to not take fucking sides and become invested in the failure of Congress or SCOTUS or whomever the POTUS happens to be – which is clearly the case.

No to Pravda. Yes to impartial reporting of *only* verifiable facts.
