I’m really curious to see the impact this has considering his status, especially within the Hispanic-American community. The pedophilia allegations are definitely the most damning, especially with how creepy the written evidence is, such as telling a 15-ear-old that they have a special song together. But for whatever reason what really gets to me the most is that he raped his female counterpart in the movement, and she kept quiet on it for 66 years and yet still was clear as day about it when asked. There’s just something truly horrifying about having to constantly be engaged and pictured with this person as basically a co-leader of this movement for decades, and yet still having so little power to do anything about this crime. Just overall awful stuff…
