Ex-teacher, Texas Senate candidate James Talarico claims illegal migrants were his ‘most patriotic’ students

That might well be true in a lot of cases. Historically, migrants tend to be very enthusiastic about the nation they move to (that’s why they moved there). However, it highlights the problem with the American education system. Students are taught at school and by the media to hate their country, despise it’s founders, and to be ashamed of their heritage. It’s amazing that anyone grows up here to be a patriotic citizen when that’s what’s being constantly whispered into their ears
