They’re not super libertarian minded. They are like Texas is. Which is more independent pride than liberty pride. They’ll have to shake off the massive statist thinking most of them have absorbed over the years. They’ll probably keep many rules and laws in place because statists think like statists think.
That said I’d imagine a good bump more towards liberty.
One worry is because they ARE a wealthy province, they’ll end up spending all their money on more, local govt programs vs reducing the overall foot print on govt. They’ll complain about Ottawa taking all their money and doing whatever but they are right now used to it.
