    amusing to see that so far it has mostly been canibalizing the US share of research.

    This is specially relevant as apparently they did not adjust pre-brexit for the EU, going from the note in the working paper pdf.

    So the EU has barely been affected by chinas rise somehow, vs a 30% dominance drop from the US.,

    Anybody got a pdf?

    I’m not surprised to see US share fall (since some share must fall for china’s share to rise, and the US was by far the highest). That said, I’d be curious about correlations with new, much more numerous journals. My assumptions are that the trend holds but is not nearly so large of a change.
