My IG algorithm is filled with this stuff and while scrolling I saw this.
I met this girl who was a sophomore and an officer of our IT department back when I was new in college and we became best friends— but we don't talk that much now. Also during my freshman year I joined the campus journalist organization. Then I became a sophomore, and she was a junior, we were still in contact, talking about stuff and this and that. Until one day she asked me if I could borrow our organization's camera so I can photograph their outside-campus organization, being a friend I offered help, so I did. My memory is now quite vague, but I think she told me that it's her fraternity group doing a public service in a barangay (basically a village) a place called Hilltop. There I learned their organization's name : Gamma Beta Sigma, or as they say it "GAMBETS". I didn't quite notice it during that time. So it just basically passed by in my mind.
And then I was invited, again, to be their photographer using my journalist organization's camera, and I accepted again because they were good people, I didn't see anything to fear. This second time, it's much closer, a village called Riverside also near my village, so it's just a walk for a minute or two. There. It was there that I noticed THIS HANDSHAKE IN THAT VIDEO.
It was there that I noticed they had a dot tattoo on their arm, right arm to be specific. And they EXACTLY shake their members' hands like this when they meet and greet each other. They shake their hand like that, with the index finger kind of pointing at where the dot tattoo was. The event at that time was also a feeding program, and there were kids and my best friend was telling the kids that (I'll translate it because it wasn't English)
"Here! Remember, GAMBETS! Don't join another fraternity, if you wanna join one, come to us! GAMBETS!"
That's a rough translation. But that's what she kept repeating on the children as she gives them food. And I actually kind of felt weird about that because, dude, those are kids. Then after the feeding program, they did a meeting in the same area when the people and the kids began leaving. She told me that whatever I hear or overhear, I should just ignore. I did, but I also overheard. They were talking about an issue, something specific, they were mentioning names of members from other branches and stuff, but I really didn't know the context because I'm trying to ignore it.
Then in the same academic year, me and her were classmates in a major subject (which she's retaking) and we were both in the same group. She's been telling me to join their frat, but I was hesitant. She even messaged me online that she "needs" me to join because she needs someone who would act like a vice president of some sort because now she's the president of their frat. It was so sudden but I refused and apologized. But even after that she always tries to make me join their frat, because "I'm smart" and "It can be used". She compliments me a lot. While making our project, she talked about it again, adding things like "It's nice to join because you can meet a lot of people. Because we would travel anywhere" also adding that the network of people could help me with my career, like get a job, be trained and stuff like that. But still. I didn't join. Now we barely talk. (but still in contact)
Also, my town's Vice Mayor is a member of their frat. This is in the Philippines. Colleges here don't make fraternities, frats are independent organizations and are BANNED in schools, universities, and academies— but with the right connection, they can actually be inside these institutions, with high rank members being present in school/university events either as special guests, sponsors, or co-op of some sort that I don't actually know.
But yeah, I've already seen that handshake. I was invited to join, but I refused.

never let another man finger you.
It’s not much of a secret when it’s out in the open.
Maybe he was just hitting on you?
It’s the Mormon handshake. It’s how you get into heaven. You shake gods hand or something like that and repeat a verbatim for entry into heaven
Def not a Freemason handshake
