This is just pathetic, and what makes it worse is HP is a professional degree, which probably surprises a lot of people. While not as many job opportunities as other professional degrees there are still a lot of them especially in the construction field. One of the biggest issues I think is the Ivory Tower nature of the programs and the professors primary focus on policy-based jobs along with the more theoretical ivory tower outlook. Which while interesting, has no real application in the real word.
But if you want a job with an HP degree you just need to focus on the conservation side, which will just about 100% get you a job with a conservation firm, construction firm, or a historic entity like a cemetery, historic home, etc. Or you do HP and Master of Architecture, and you work at an architecture firm.
