I can almost guarantee our refusal to unfreeze assets and to give them pallets of cash is one of the biggest issues for them. They were already talking early into the war about how “reparations” would be needed to strike a deal.
This just tells us what we all know, the Regime has got to go. Leaving them in power is only going to cause more problems including their continuous pursuit of weapons they can threaten the region with. While demining operations in the strait is good news, we still have to deal with the threat their existing missiles and launchers pose to traffic.
