Ss: yeah yeah 80% of you are gonna tell me "get oFF Of fAcEbO0k" I know but the reality is 95% of earth uses Facebook so whatever.
Anyway those of us that do use it will be aware of a global Facebook/instagram/meta outage this morning that lasted roughly an hour or two. It all seems to be back online now but I just had this message appear at the top of my Facebook app.
Could the outage be related to this "merging of the tech worlds" so to speak? Facebook was already connected to Instagram through Meta, and now it seems that Meta will soon openly be able to know EVERYTHING we do in the digital world? And there's no way we can opt out of it??
I knew our online privacy was already basically non-existent. But this just openly confirms it. This seems like the final nail in the coffin to me.
