Submission Statement: The Institute for Progress released a set of recommendations for process and regulatory reforms to improve the construction of US transit projects. These cover a range of topics, from things many readers here already know about like some NEPA reforms and inhousing talent, to things i've never heard recommended before like reducing bus customization and eliminating subway cross-passages. This is relevant to neoliberal because improvements to state capacity and regulations are issues that many users care about and can help support the liberal society most users desire. It would be good to discuss what of the idea are good, meaningful improvements and which may be counterproductive or not as beneficial.
