This piece explores the hard philosophical barrier between illiberal left and the liberal left. After analysis, I argue that the Democratic party today is vulnerable to being taken advantage of by illiberal actors who are not powerful enough to win any elections, but are powerful enough to damage the Democratic party brand further and help the Republicans win.
