Alex Karp, CEO of the big data software firm Palantir Technologies, was seen making a private visit to Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, on Tuesday.

During his visit to the iconic building, Karp was welcomed by Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky of Chabad World Headquarters.

Karp is the co-founder and longtime CEO of Palantir, a publicly traded American software company known for its data analytics and artificial intelligence platforms used by government agencies, defense organizations and commercial businesses.

Karp, known as a prominent corporate defender of Israel and an active voice against rising antisemitism, was seen speaking with Rabbi Eitan Webb, Director of Chabad at Princeton University, and Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kantor, Head Shliach of Thailand.

On Tuesday, Karp also visited the Rebbe’s Ohel in Queens to daven there, accompanied by Rabbi Kotlarsky.

Rabbi Mendy Uminer, Director of Chabad at Chestnut Hill in Massachusetts, encountered Karp at the Ohel and shared a selfie with the technology executive on social media.

“Only at the Rebbe’s Ohel-resting place do you bump into the legendary Alex Karp,” Rabbi Uminer wrote.

The purpose of Karp’s visits and the nature of his conversations at 770 were not immediately known.
