Despite not seeing them much on this sub, Ireland is one of the freest and fastest growing countries in the world. According to the most recent economic freedom report, Ireland is the third freest economy (behind Singapore and Switzerland) and the third fastest growing economy over the past decade. Correlation? I think so.
