I’ve been really deep diving this topic because I’m always curious on how things progress in terms of pedophile rings and I know this was one that definitely got covered up. To start I do think Wayne Williams had involvement but to what degree is unknown to me. Im back and forth on the bridge incident as well. What I do know is that the connections to known pedophiles Tom Terrell and his house on Gray street are rampant, also with John David Wilcoxen. An Atlanta police department recruit who carried child pornography photos out of Wilcoxens house said when they were carried into headquarters there were massive amounts of photos of black children in the collection and then all of sudden there was significantly less photos with only white children included. Tom Terrell also admitted to having sex with victim Timothy Hill the night before his disappearance and was never charged with that crime and was cleared of the murder to pave way for Wayne Williams to take the rap for it. Also to go back to Wilcoxen, an eyewitness stated victim Earl Terrell frequented his house and was selling his body for cash. The same was said of victim Lubie Geter. John David Wilcoxen also lived across the street from the swimming pool where Earl Terrell disappeared from after being kicked out by a lifeguard. Another victim Clifford Jones was witnessed by a kid said to be “slow” being anally raped and murdered by another known pedophile named Jamie Brooks. The kid described exactly what Clifford Jones was wearing before he dissapeared despite him being found dumped in different clothing. There were also 2 eyewitnesses who witnessed the body being dumped by a man in a hooded robe. A witness claimed to see this robe in Brooks house as well. All of there claims were discounted and Brooks was never charged. A staggering amount of the victims knew each other. I think it’s no mistake that suddenly adults started being included on the list. Nathaniel cater the last victim and one of 2 adults charged to Wayne Williams was known to frequent The silver Dollar lounge with Jamie Brooks, also Chet Detlinger who wrote the Pulitzer nominated book The List and was heavily involved with the investigation from the beginning reported Cater was kicked out of his Grandmothers house for touching boys. Another confidential informant reported Jimmy Ray Payne, another adult victim included on the list was also associated with Darron Glass who disappeared and was never found, in selling photos of themselves. I just started but I have about 70 pages of notes on the victims so far and I’m not even halfway through the list in terms of having the specifics/intricacies of each murder down. Specifically I’m at Patrick Rodgers and from what I know the closer to the end I get the more suspicious it becomes. To show more connections between the boys I’ll sum up what I know so far—Edward Hope Smith and Alfred evans victims 1 and 2 who were found together and dissapeared days apart were friends. The 8th victim Christoper Richardson knew the 9th victim Latonya Wilson who also was neighbors with Nathaniel Cater. Victims Aaron Wyche and Aaron Jackson were also friends, they both knew Patrick Rodgers victim number 17 who was killed subsequently after they were. Victim Anthony Carter had been neighbors with Timothy Hill. The 20th victim Patrick Balthazar also knew Timothy Hill. Joseph Bell was also friends and neighbors with Timothy Hill and knew adult victim Michael Macintosh. Not a victim but a boy named Lee Gooch who was reported missing but actually had run away and was found in Florida had a good amount of connections to victims. Lee Gooch had connections to victims Edward Hope Smith, Terry Pue, Yusuf Bell, Jeffrey Mathis, and Patrick Rodgers (who also knew a staggering amount of the victims). When Gooch was found after being arrested in Tallahassee, he said a women in his neighborhood knew one of the culprits but was to scared to tell. Not mentioned but important is the Challenge School for boys and their connections to the victims and also a local baptist church. Always interested to hear other peoples opinions— that was a little disorganized but hopefully we can get some good discourse on this going.
