After many months, I have yet to see a mainstream source take a comprehensive look at Russell Vought, his history, and how he fits into the broader MAGA/New Right movement, so I did it myself through an article series on my substack. Part 1 covers his early history, time in Trump-45's Administration, and his establishment of the Center for Renewing America and its activities throughout 2021. I am planning future articles covering Vought's activities up to and through the 2022 Midterm elections, his initiation of Project 2025, his involvement in the 2024 Presidential Campaign, and his activities thus far in the Trump-47 Administration.
