So … I am a person who loves reading about conspiracy theories as a general mental exercise. Occasionally I provide them some consideration, but never do I believe them. (Though one particular one does float on the edge of my belief.)
However, as I scroll through media and see the news and pay attention to things that happen, a conspiracy has been brewing in my mind. (I didn’t see anything posted on it yet so here goes.)
We all know about the Mandela effect and there are tons of theories about it. Many it seems have fallen into the collapsing timelines theory and settled. Others think it’s some crazy experiment. But mostly, people just point out, “Oh look, another collapse of timeline or false memory.”
Now the US government is going through and changing a lot of places where historical information is set. Let’s start with the most egregious: The other day when the due process and habeas corpus clauses were removed from the Library of Congress website. And then chalked up to a “coding error.” As someone well versed in software and web development … you don’t lose small portions of text out of a body of text. You lose it all. They “fixed the error,” but it seems more like they got called out too fast.
Continuous removal of any information regarding trans people and their rights, fights, and struggles are being erased.
A directive was given to remove everything from government museums talking about the, “bad” parts of slavery and the fight for the non-white populations of this country.
It is my opinion that the entire point the last 16 years of the, “Mandela Effect” was to set up an environment to create a false narrative to lure the people of the United States into accepting the installation of a fascist regime under the guise of, “Making sure the /truth/ is known and unchanged by the /woke-mind-virus/.”
Before you know it, people will be saying the Stonewall Riots were attacks on honorable police doing their rightful duty by the, “evil queers.” Slavery will be, “Great Americans saved African people from tortured slavery and slowly acclimated them to regular life through the tool of being a well-treated and paid servant.” We will get, “Immigrants are what caused HIV, COVID, HEP-C and only immigrants are school shooters.”
I used to wonder how the mass populace of 1930s-40s Germans fell into such an insane trap and I see something so similar unfolding right before my eyes.
