Every time I take a survey, I run into the same question: “Do you consider yourself conservative, moderate, or liberal?”

I always end up picking “moderate,” but it feels like a cop-out. Not because I’m undecided, but because Libertarians don’t really fit the left–right box. We reject the extremes on both sides, yet we’re not just in the fuzzy middle either.

That’s why I love the World’s Smallest Political Quiz — the Nolan Chart makes so much more sense. It actually maps both personal and economic freedom and shows where Libertarians belong.
