Sodom and Gomorrah

Here’s my brain diarrhea on one of the most significant and consequential events of the Tanakh snd referenced all over the Pentateuch.

I am Catholic but I have a lot of Alan Segal, Chuck Missler and Mike Heiser inside of my head. I have to state that I am Catholic coz my education and upbringing and my approach to the ancient texts with have a critical lens but you’re going to find shades of Catholicism (esp in my fondness to Jesus Christ and it’s important for the reader to know that I do have a Christian bias, but I also have a very open mind of putting a third party hat on)

Segal is a unique researcher coz he takes you into a time travel journey of the consciousness of Israelites and early Christians in the first century.

I’m purposefully avoiding the terms “Jew” or “Jewish” coz they are unheard of in the first century and are inventions of much later centuries by other people. You can talk to a second temple period guy and if you tell him “you’re Jewish” he will not understand you – the identity was not established. Even the Septuagint and the Vulgate refer to them as Judaeans – as in residents of the province of Judaea – Nazarene – resident of the city of Nazareth. Galilean – resident of Galilee. These are not ethno states.

Segal takes you through confusing times. The rabbis aka teachers and top brass are in a crisis. They are aware of two Adonais and have dabbled with it since the Babylonian exile. And they started asking each other – did one of them just show up and did we put him to death. This crisis was raging in the consciousness and religious schools and Segal takes you through it in vivid detail in all his works.

How does it relate to Sodom and Gomorrah – this is one of the texts that clearly talks of an Adonai on the ground and then there is an Adonai in the skies and together they bring destruction. It’s like one knows what the other is doing.

“The father is in me and I in the father” – sounds familiar??

“Everything I do, my father is also doing”

The early Christians didn’t pull the trinity out of thin air – it’s very much a combination of the 2 Lords and the spirit of Adonai that floats over the formless and void water of the earth in Genesis 1:1

That’s one of the key details the modern church does not teach. Almost nobody today realizes two individuals are carrying out the carnage. They just say God destroyed S and G, but details matter. And it’s not a nuke but it’s a plasma weapon. No radioactive fallout, but anything that plasma comes into contact turns into dust/ash – burning organic matter creates sulphur aka brimstone

As to the why:
Let’s follow the plot. What is told today is that everyone was gay and having anal sex and God destroyed them. Hence sodomy enters the English dictionary.

That’s not what happens. One of the Adonais sends the other (pre Son of Man Jesus) to talk to Abraham. He is flanked by two “angelos”. This is the source of “Before Abraham I am” by the way. This Adonai stays and sends his angelos to go meet Lot.

The fate of Sodom and Gomorrah is already decided but Abraham pleads and this is where the concept of find me ten good men comes from.

Now it’s mentioned that these are two extremely handsome angelos. So extremely handsome that men gather outside Lot’s house and ask them to come out so they can “rape” them.

Let’s dial back a little – the biggest problem in S & G was not homosexuality or men being gay. It was rape of children – especially young boys. Girls were already being abused but in the old days – a woman are purely for childbearing and they assume these child bearing duties as young as 13 – this was child abuse too, but a more rampant form of child abused was the molestation of young boys, as young as 6 – I came across the earliest description of this kind of “lust” when I was burrowing into the Ugaritic texts and the epic of ninerta and supporting literature.

The homosexuality they describe here is not the gay pride we see today or grown men and grown men – it’s the forbidden kind of homosexuality which we call pedophilia today

Men took lovers and these lovers were boys who were 12. This practice is also rampant in Sparta and Greece and Rome later on – I read an account of the depravity of Philip of Macedonia and how his son Alexander is disgusted at Philip and his generals trying to fuck boys who are the peers of Alexander. And he won’t go lay with Olympia. Olympia tells Alexander that he wasn’t of Philip but of Zeus – implying that Alexander is part god – exactly the definition of a nephilim

As men gather and yell at Lot to send the beautiful men outside so they can be raped – Lot offers up his daughters to be raped instead – which is disgusting – but it’s because he knows full well that the men of the time are not interested in sex with grown adults – THEY WERE PEDOPHILES.

And that’s your clue that the two angelos sent to Lot were two young boy like angels who are teenagers. It’s almost like the debauchery of the pedophiles of S and G are manifested one last time as a justification to Abraham and his kinsman Lot.

Such as – I am sending these two children in my name – and these men want to assault them and rape them and they are not interested in assaulting Lot’s daughters coz that’s not who they are attracted to. It’s always about the children. Which later connects to Jesus indicating in Matthew that whoever harms children is going to the deepest pits of hell.

Lot is given a chance and he could not find even one man who is “not a pedophile” – implying that Lot is the only non pedophile in the whole area. Which checks out with Enoch when he says the watchers descended on mount Hermon and they taught humans “lust” – aka lust towards children.

I came to the conclusion that the destruction is not because they were gay – what is described in the text is that it’s pedophilia/pederasty. And remarkably, here’s a poster who reads it in German and he arrives at the same conclusion – it’s assault of boys, young enough to be children.

And then I ran into some Acadian material which describes pederasty such as – they would harm the young child so much that the child would be irreparable aka the child is dead from the assault.

It was never about being gay – it was about pedophilia and rape. And in ancient times, when a young one is assaulted or raped – it leads to death, it leads to murder.

Lot’s grown daughters are safer coz even when Lot offers them for sex, the men reject them and they instead want to fuck the two angelos who are implied to be very young men.
