YouTube has removed over 700 videos and shut down the channels of three prominent Palestinian human rights organizations—Al-Haq, Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, and the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR).

The deleted videos reportedly documented Israeli rights violations in Palestinian territories, including testimonies from survivors, investigations into the killing of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, and documentation of home demolitions.

YouTube, via a Google spokesperson, attributed the removals to compliance with U.S. sanctions targeting entities cooperating with the International Criminal Court (ICC) investigation into alleged war crimes by Israeli officials.

Human rights organizations have criticized the action, calling it "censorship" and arguing that it shields perpetrators by removing evidence of abuse from the public view. The deleted organizations are now seeking alternative platforms to archive their work.
