Immunologist here! ima go one at a time, just so we have no “Ah ha! you skipped one!” please note, you can look each patent up yourself. this started floating around FB about 4 months ago. my paranoid uncle already tried to get me with it, so I was ready for it to pop up
US-Patent 5676977: AIDS
this is a patent from the 1990s for tetrasilver tetroxide molecular crystal devices that the patent applicants had hoped would be able to effectively cure AIDS. it did not, and the patent expired in 2000.
US-Patent 8835624: H1N1
this not a patent for this virus, which causes swine flu. In fact, it is referring to an aptamer, a molecule that binds to other target molecules. we wanted to use this specific aptamer to identify the H1N1 virus in fast tests folks could use at home.
US-Patent 20120251502: EBOLA
This is actually for EboBun, a new strain of errent Ebola that was identified and isolated in a patient in Uganda. The patented it with the Ugandan government. this is common in medicine, as it prevents a private company, say GSK, from holding a patent over the molecular makeup of a virus, preventing other research labs from using the virus to try and find a cure.
There is no patent listed with this patent ID, and BSE is bovine spongiform encephalopathy. it isnt a virus, its a prion.
ATTC VR-84: Zika
this isnt a patent. its an American Type Culture Collection sample number.. a non profit that holds tens thousands of samples that we researchers use to make vaccines and medications, like a big library.
US-Patent 7897744 & 8506968 SARS:
The first patent is for the genomic sequences of the SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) coronavirus. This does not mean the applicant, the Public Health Agency of Canada, made the virus. again, it means they identified genetic makeup first.
The second patent is for a SARS vaccine that ultimately wasnt used.
US-Patent 10130701 COVID
Coronavirus is an umbrella term for different types of viruses that can be found in most mammals. This patent specifically is held by the Pirbright Institute.
its for a weakened coronavirus that only infects livestock, not humans. and is used to make vaccines. mostly for sheep, some goats.

If anyone is curious just how badly and lazily OP is lying, here we go.
AIDS: Patent US-5676977 is not a patent for AIDS. it is a patent for a cure for AIDS with a tetrasilver tetroxide molecular crystal device.
H1N1: Patent 8835624 is not for H1N1 but for an aptamer, a molecule that binds to other target molecules, that be used to more easily identify H1N1 in the body.
BSE: Patent 0070031450 doesn’t exist. You can google it yourself and you won’t find it. This is such BS.
ZIKA: Patent ATTC VR-84 doesn’t exist because it’s not a patent. The American Type Culture Collection is an organisation where you can buy biological samples from. Say you’re a lab and you want to study ZIKA, you buy the a sample of the strain from ATTC to then have in your lab. VR-84 is just the ATTCs designation for the virus. It’s not a patent, you can look it up and see no patent information.
Look I’m going to stop right there because I’m tired but yeah, OP is either to lazy to look into the drivel the sprouting or just couldn’t care less about spreading lies.

Ummm. Not trying to get banned, but I wasn’t aware that “Immunologist” who would have gone to College or University, could have such low quality writing skills.
If you want to look up a patent, look up #1 patent.
It is for a flying machine (if my memory is correct). It didn’t work, but I am sure the applicant felt like ‘flying’ when they unveiled it.

US-Patent CA2741523 A1: Swine Flu (H1N1 again)
This patent is just EboBun again, not swine flu. [you can find all the information on it here, and how we patent molecular bases for research.](https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/patent/CA-2741523-A1)
