A part of me lowkey wishes the Republican map had gone through. It was less consistent with the rules of the redistricting, and divided up Salt Lake City more than needed. But it did create R+2 and R+6 seats, which I feel like would be winnable by Dems. Here, its just three R packed red seats and one D packed blue seat around SLC, which is more true to the law and more consistent with giving SLC as a cohesive unit one voice in Congress, but it feels like a missed opportunity.
