In 2009 the FBI attempted to recruit American Muslims to conduct a series of antisemitic terrorist attacks, likely for entrapment reasons. This makes one wonder to what extent the government has succeeded in pushing fake cases of antisemitism in the US, likely to support the goals of the Israeli state. This was one case of many in which the FBI was found to have practiced entrapment among the American Muslim community, with past cases involving coercing mentally ill teenagers to carry out such activities.
omg this is wild i just learned about these fake terror plots in my poli sci class last week. the fbi really does spend so much time creating “terrorists” just to arrest them.
