I honestly think Trump doesn’t give a flying shit about his approval ratings anymore.
Like in no way does asking for Netanyahu to be pardoned, thinking about bailing out Hungary’s economy ahead of Orban’s next election, or pardoning genuine criminals unrelated to ideology do him any good politically.
I think he’s just going on a full evil streak and doing whatever the hell he wants before he kicks the bucket, and the fact that the executive branch has this much power to allow him to do this largely unchecked pisses me so fucking much.
