Anyway, considering some people don’t seem to realise this, the vast majority of foreign nationals on welfare are EU Settled Status (not affected by this rules but could be by Reform). The vast majority of foreign-born in social housing in the UK are British citizens (because most foreign-born in social housing moved here decades ago), and most of the rest are EU citizens with EUSS.

They weirdly made a bunch of skilled workers actually eligible for *faster* settlement. I’m hoping this can work in my favour.
