I don’t think Trump’s recent actions are the actions of a guy who feels in control. He’s flailing, his popularity is collapsing, and he has very few new levers to pull other than hoping the Supreme Court will bail him out. He hasn’t consolidated power over the military fast enough to really make those orders, and Republicans are willing enough to throw him under the bus at least on topics like Epstein. I’m much less scared than I was six months ago (though a cornered animal is still dangerous)

I wonder if seal teams 1-5 or possibly even >7 feel bad that 6 gets all the spotlight. I hope they do I’ve met 2 seals and they were absolute pricks. (Anecdotal I know not to shade the whole org).
