Insofar as many of these plants have already been built, it’s good to get them back up and running, as the cost of it will be far lower than building a new plant from scratch. That said, Japan is a fairly disaster-prone region so I’m doubtful on the call to build new nuclear power plants. Renewables are anyhow cheaper and in the worst case scenario, fail less dramatically
