Cambridge Analytica did it first. Elon, Sacks, Sriram and his “devs” perfected it. The entire X and Facebook platform are a farce. At least TikTok and Insta you have to record videos and it’s harder to fake and grift

This isn’t some orchestrated psyop or something it’s just a symptom of X’s monetization system (and other platforms too). X pays you for engagement, which means if you want to make money you have to post crazy, outlandish, stupid and otherwise clickbaity garbage to get money. 

Combine this with the millions of south Asians that have just recently gotten access to the internet and found out you can make more money flooding the internet with garbage instead of working in a clothing factory and you get a platform like X.
