rumoured for a while of course but now it’s official
not clear how they’re going to get BC to agree with all this but i suspect a big ~~bribe~~ federal funding commitment will be involved

My progressive councillors are conservatives my conservative premier is conservative and my liberal PM is conservative and for some reason all the cons are still mad
Even assuming that this won’t happen, is this risk really worth taking for Carney?
He’s willing to possibly torch his favorability amongst a lot of British Columbians, progressive caucus members and First Nations (plus give a bunch of ammunition to the PQ’s election campaign) so he can get a little bit of goodwill with Alberta?
