This essay is far too generous as it assumes emmiserating the west is compatible with growth in the poorer regions, ie it takes the assumption of degrowthers that the world is zero sum for granted (it does so for the sake of argument)

I really dislike Branko, but it’s good that he’s saying this, since the people who need to hear it would probably dismiss it coming from more traditionally liberal sources.
