So I'm not much of a conspiracy person but every once in a while I'll see something and wonder. Today I came across that very thing here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/PR73l_u2WkM.
Now I've seen video's like these before that just show up at random and they're cute or funny but the longer they go on the more you start to realize that something's off and before you know it you're checking the comments to see if anyone else notice and sure enough they do.
But after seeing this one something occurred to me, and for some of you I'm sure you'll be like "duh" but I think it's a significant observation. These videos are conditioning people by contrast. I believe what's happening is that for shorts like this they're intentionally adding absurd aspects that kind of snap people out of the illusion. But I believe the real reason this is being done is to hide the subtle improvements made to the aspects that reflect normal conditions.
Until eventually they remove the absurd and all that's left is the normal aspects of the video which people being conditioned to look for the absurd will be more accepting of the videos by virtue of it not appearing.
I'm not sure what purpose it will eventually serve but I do feel it's something to take note of. But anyways that's my home brewed conspiracy, it may not even be unique but it's certainly something that can be observed whether intentional or not, who knows.

omg these videos are literally everywhere on my fyp lately.. it’s like we’re all being trained to spot the weirdness without even realizing it.

I hadn’t seen a video like this previously. It is a bit disturbing, if this is being normalized as you suggest.
Why ‘they’ would want to normalize this? I’ll have to noodle on that one for a bit.
