This will be a great benefit to Kazakhstan and restore its natural environment. Rewilding certain species should be an active component of a conservation strategy and it’s something national governments should pursue. There used to be bison in North Carolina and Florida as late as 1750. They could easily return if we decided to pursue rewilding.
